As part of a visit to through New South Wales, we drove to Dorrigo in the mountains and stayed at an amazing B&B, The Ridgetop Hideaway. The view is from the back of the apartment which was a converted garage made lovely through the owner’s handiwork.
I especially love the little desk by the window.
The property had a lovely hidden zen garden and loads of native trees. Unlike most B&B’s this one came with a stocked kitchen and you made your own breakfast. It was lovely. The eggs were local and the bacon was so meaty it looked like sliced ham. I could have stayed there all week ( if they hadn’t booked the next day to someone else).
